World Autism Day and Autism Acceptance Month

April 2, 2021

April 2 is World Autism Day. Also known as World Autism Awareness Day, the United Nations has proclaimed this day as a time to showed solidarity with people with autism - and everyone around the world.

The entire month of April is also designated as Autism Acceptance/Awareness Month. This annual recognition is not only to make all communities aware of the contribution and value of individuals with autism but also  a time in which individuals are encouraged to spread awareness, and promote acceptance understanding that all people live on the bread spectrum of neurodiversity.

Below are some wonderful voices of autistic identity and neurodiversity as we spread awareness, promote acceptance, and ignite change.
